OxVox – Kassam Stadium Meeting

Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday 9th January 2008

Attendance: Rachel Harwood (GM, The Kassam Stadium) Roger Bailey (FM, The Kassam Stadium/Ozone Leisure) Trevor Lambert (OxVox), Neil Carter (OxVox)

1. Catering

RH confirmed the following points

• Still awaiting feedback on the catering survey from Lindley’s catering and J & J outside catering contractors.
• The stadium company will be providing further advertising in the stadium for the restaurant and also on OUFC website. OUFC will receive revenue from the sale of the re-launched restaurant meals.
• A range of drinks promotions will be introduced on new bottled products from February games.

2. Facilities

RB confirmed that the exterior painting of the stadium was an on going programme and will continue when the weather is less inclement.

RB confirmed new eco blocks were being used in the stadium in the urinals which are eco friendly, save on water and provide a pleasant fragrance.

RB confirmed there was an ongoing programme for the replacement of taps and seats; the pigeon problem was solved (for now).

TL raised the question of TVs; RB confirmed no progress as yet on a new TV service to the concourses, though discussions with a potential supplier were on going.

3. Cleaning

NC raised an issue with regards to the cleaniness of the actual stands. RH will take this issue forward with the cleaning contractors.
