Minutes of last meeting (17.01.05) and matters arising

The minutes were accepted. The lack of a marked pedestrian crossing by the Ozone entrance was mentioned again by OxVox; the club confirmed the arrangements satisfied relevant legal obligations.

Joint marketing activities

The club agreed that the Templars Square stall was a successful idea and thanked OxVox; OxVox would be willing to help occasionally again in the future. However OxVox would like also to look at other marketing ventures. Two were mentioned: a stall in Westgate [added in minutes: CD subsequently enquired and Westgate were prepared to allow a stall for publicity purposes but not to sell merchandise, which may be helpful to raise awareness of the club in pre-season] and fixture posters, which if the club prepared, OxVox offered to distribute to pubs, restaurants etc around Oxfordshire. In return OxVox asked the club to consider offering some tangible benefit to OxVox members e.g. a shop discount, or priority (after season ticket holders) for ticket allocation for future all-ticket matches.

Management position

Firoz Kassam was still in discussion with the management team. MB confirmed that Raul Marcovic had left.

Stadium maintenance

GH passed on OxVox's initial list of proposed works. Anne-Marie Brennan had been appointed general manager for the stadium. NK would discuss with her and report back to next meeting.

Fans forum

To be arranged once management position was finalised.

Ticketing/pricing

Club had not made any decisions on pricing for 2005/6. OxVox would consider and bring forward suggestions. The free under 7s initiative being rolled out across the Football League was being considered, as discussed previously.

AOB

Club was approaching a decision on the new kit manufacturer.

OxVox would make further enquiries regarding a training ground; TL to pursue one specific suggestion.
