1 Present
Trevor Lambert, Neil Carter, Ray Whittaker, Graham Hilsden, Bob Scholes and Chris Davis.
2 Apologies

3 Matters arising
Phil Fugle had resigned the committee since the previous meeting. His input as an elected member, albeit for a short period of time, had been appreciated by the rest of the committee.
Unfriendly exchanges on the TiU between comments and other fans (some of them OxVox members) were discussed. It was agreed that committee members had to take care in future not to be goaded into intemperate responses, as had sometimes happened in the past.
Trevor’s public comment about the recent convictions of 2 people for hooliganism last September had been criticised in some quarters. Nevertheless, the Trust believes that the good name of OUFC supporters and the Club remain of paramount importance. The incident in question had raised concerns about police tactics on occasions, and the committee would consider meeting the current liaison officer.
Newsletter 13 had been published but it was too early for any responses.
The Club’s Fun Day had proved popular with 13 new members and 7 renewing members signing up. The 2 winners of the juniors’ drawing competitions received their prizes on the Sunday.
Slides from the Fans’ Forum had been sent to almost 40 members. The Trust needed to edit the presentation to overcome several unreadable slides. Accordingly, a copy had also been given back to the Club.
4 Fundraising
The framed signed shirt had now been handed to the Club to sell by auction. The leading bid from the Fun Day was £100. The revenue obtained will help to complete the Trust’s sponsorship commitment.
The “buy.at” revenue was stagnating and attempts will continue to be made to advertise the facility.
A new Prediction League is to be considered from 29 September to cover all league matches, with a trial run taking place in the early weeks of the season. A cost of £10 per person is envisaged with 50% of the money being paid out in prizes.
5 7-a-side competition
Consideration is being given to staging this during “Kick it out” campaign fortnight and pitch/court availability and costs are being obtained. A grant could be obtained if the competition was linked to the campaign when more teams could be attracted.
6 Club meeting The date is to be finalised by e-mail but is provisionally set for 16 July.
7 Members’ meeting
Set for 16 July at the Quarry Gate at 7.30pm. The agenda will mostly be about the Club finances and projections.
8 Dates of future meetings
Monday 13 August
Thursday 13 September
Monday 8 October
9 Any other business
The Club has offered to provide a link from its official newsletter to the Trust’s web-site.
The Trust had also been approached from a car dealer Trust member who wished to advertise his business and pay a fee for each car sold via the electronic link to his web- site.
