OxVox Board Minutes

Quarry Gate, 11 April 2005

Present - Trevor Lambert, Sally Lambert, Neil Carter, Chris Davis, Andy James, Helen Joslin, Graham Hilsdon.

Apologies - Ray Whittaker, Stan Taylor, Terry Taylor.

1. Minutes from last meeting: Agreed.

2. Templars Square - Arrangements discussed and made for Friday. Also discussed membership and agreed to extended membership period for new members as a promotional offer. Discussed forthcoming meeting with the club and agreed that we would ask about signage for the club shop and discounts to encourage membership.

3. Discussed draft press statements in the event that either management team stay or go.

4. Social event - agreed to wait until next meeting to make a decision on whether to take this any further.

5. Newsletter - currently aiming to produce a newsletter for the end of May. Can everyone please write a short piece about their area of expertise. To be submitted by 16th May.

6. Article for Rage On - We had originally discussed writing a piece for Rage On as it was thought that the next issue would be the last. Dan Abrey has now though agreed to carry it on. Trevor has spoken to Dan who is happy to have regular contributions from Ox Vox. Agreed that we will not now produce an article as a committee in light of this.

7. Club Meeting - An hour has been allocated for this and an agenda has been forwarded to the club. Agenda items discussed.
