Quarry Gate, 24 March 2005

Present: Chris Davis, Trevor Lambert, Sally Lambert, Neil Carter, Ray Whittaker, Stan Taylor, Graham Hilsdon, Helen Joslin.

Apologies: Andy James, Terry Taylor.

The meeting had been moved from ite original date of 21 March because some members had been ill.

Minutes of last meeting (February 28): Agreed.

Change of roles on committee: Chris had indicated before Christmas that he wisehed to stand down as Chair following the AGM. Sally also wished to take on a single role rather than combining membership secretary with webmaster. After a lengthy discussion the following changes were agreed:

Chris resigns as chair and becomes commercial rep.; Trevor becomes chair; Helen becomes secretary; Neil remains treasurer; Ray and Stan jointly become membership secretary; Sally resigns as membership secretary and retains role of webmaster; Andy remains health and safety and local football rep; Graham remains stadium facilities rep; Terry becomes Exiles rep.

Mailing to members: We agreed to mail all members notifying them of chandges to the committee, and supplying copies of the accounts and AGM papers and minutes. Envelope stuffing evening set for March 31st. We would include copies of the 2 recent press releases.

Next newsletter: We agreed to aim for May 31 (after the end of the season).

Rage On: It appeared tha the next issue would be the last and we agreed to write an article, perhaps incl;uding a membership offer. For discussion at the next meeting.

Templars Square: Chris reported close co-operation from Lorna Gosling who would be there on the day (April 15). Details to be finalised at the next meeting.

Social evening: Chris was pursuing the possibility of table football hire.

Next committee meeting: Monday April 11th, 7.30, Quarry Gate.
